Electrical Services

WE CAN TAKE CARE OF ALL YOUR ELECTRICAL NEEDS

Let Anton Electric Inc. answer all your questions about electrical service. The electrical service is where power is delivered to your house, monitored, and distributed to the entire property. The circuit breaker panel is the epicenter of your home electrical system. Older houses were originally installed with 60amp or 100amp services. Because of the increase in the use of electrical appliances and heating and cooling systems, most new homes are being constructed with 200amp electrical services.

There are 4 parts of a home electrical service: The electrical service cable, the meter socket, the electrical service panel, and proper grounding. All of the parts must be replaced when upgrading your home electrical service.

Electric Heating

Electric heat comes in several forms, from radiant floor heat to electric heat pumps. Electric heat is more energy efficient than traditional forms of heat and is usually more affordable. Electric radiant floor heat is generally installed in bathrooms and your kitchen. Anton Electric Inc. installs radiant heat under your floor tile, and it can be controlled by a programmable thermostat, just like traditional heating methods. Electric baseboard and wall mounted heaters are also non-fossil fuel options.

Ceiling Fans

For a low energy way to cool rooms in the summer, we recommend Ceiling fans. Ceiling fans come in many shapes, styles, and functions and will meet many of your needs. A homeowner can add light to any room by adding a light kit to a modern ceiling fan. You can even squeeze a compact ceiling fan into a small home office. Even if you have a low ceiling, Anton Electric can install a contemporary flush mounted ceiling fan.

Exhaust Fans

Exhaust fans are generally used in kitchens and bathrooms. Kitchen exhaust fans are either installed directly over the range or are wall mounted. Kitchen exhaust fans remove smoke and bad odors created by cooking. Bathroom exhaust fans are generally installed into the ceiling and ducted out of the roof in the most convenient and cost-effective way. These fans rid your bathroom of excess moisture which causes the paint and plaster walls from deteriorating. Most building codes now require an exhaust fan in bathrooms without exterior windows.

Attic Fans

If your house does not have central air conditioning, attic fans are essential to home energy savings. Attic fans are generally installed with thermostats to control the length of time the fan is running. Although central air conditioning systems have generally displaced whole house attic fans, they can still be installed to help cool your home. A new version of the attic fan is the solar attic fan. They require no power from your energy supplier but still effectively lower the energy consumption of your current home cooling system.

Whole House Surge Protection

Whole house surge protection can protect vulnerable and fragile electrical equipment from lighting strikes, power company surges, and other dangerous occurrences. Considering the multiple televisions, computers, tablets, and entertainment systems throughout your house, surge protectors are a good investment and can give you great peace of mind.

Home Network Wiring

Network cable wiring for home computers and home networks is becoming a household standard. Anton Electric Inc. provides and installs quality, cost-effective network wiring for your home.
